Corona virus: 4,000 personnel at stake in US combat fleet




More than 4,000 personnel on the US combat fleet are at stake because of the Varuna virus.

According to a report from the US Broadcasting, US Navy aircraft commander Brett Crozier, commander of the USS Theodore Roosevelt, requested immediate assistance in a letter to the Pentagon.

Captain Brett Crozier wrote in the letter that at least 70 people on the fleet had been confirmed with the Corona virus.

They have warned the Navy leadership that urgent and decisive action is needed to save the crew.

There are more than 42,000 deaths due to corona virus worldwide while the estimated number of certified victims is 8 million.
