FATE IS THE ROAD; WILL IS THE DRIVER

Waking up this morning, how many of  you had the faintest idea, you would be reading this foolscap? Most of you didn't, did you? Most likely, you made a random set of choices that led you to this page and brought forth including Muslims are confused fate and freewill. They are not sure whether they all are masters of their own fate or enslaved to their density. Fate is an important article of faith for the word 'Muslim' means 'total subservience to Allah's will.' Believe in Qadar,  Allah's omniscience and sovereignty prevent us from being boastful over worldly success on despondent over sorrows and tragedies. We embrace every occurring, though unpleasant to us, solely as will of Allah, However, one may say "Then what is the use of striving in this life if already decreed by the God. Shouldn't we be idling around leaving every thing to fate.

This seems logical but there is misconception; which has been rightly clarified by Islam. In Holy Quran, Allah says "And there is not for man except (good) for which he strives. And that effort is going to be seen."Had there been no concept of freewill there would be no "Day of Judgment" where every human will be held accountable before Allah, rewarded for obeying Him and punished for transgressing the limits prescribed by Him. "               ", in real sense, means putting in one's best,  leaving no stone unturned and then putting trust in Allah, for His part and domain is far greater; He not only think for one but also for the entire humanity.

One day, our beloved prophet(       )saw a Bedouin leaving his camel unleashed in a garden. On asking the Bedouin replied "I put my trust i Allah." The Holy prophet(        )saw said these remarkable words "Do your part by tying up the camel and then put your trust in Allah." Hence, we see that misfortunes and failures if they come, are only to check one's endurance , forbearance, resolution of faith in Allah Almighty.Even in the teeth of all hardships, man should not succumb or allow his courage to be dampened.As the saying goes "If you can't change your faith, change your attitude." Every man with his unique capabilities has the power to choose that is the only thing that matters for achieving everything.
